The developers of the proposed Woodland Town Center located on South Illinois Avenue will begin construction work during the week of April 23rd. To allow construction on the project, it is necessary that Quincy Avenue be closed between South Purdue Avenue and South Illinois Avenue.

The street closure is tentatively scheduled to begin on April 27th subject to
inclement weather that could cause a delay in the closure. The street will be
closed for approximately 4-5 months until a new street is constructed as part of
the Woodland Town Center development.

Motorists are requested to avoid the area. Motorists that use Quincy Avenue to
access the Woodland neighborhood are requested to use alternate routes of
travel.

The City apologizes to the public for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
