The Transportation Safety Advisory Board (TSAB) will hold a public meeting on October 21, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building Training Room to discuss the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) FY2015 Transportation Alternatives grant application submitted by the City of Oak Ridge.

The grant application is to improve the intersection of Providence Road, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Pasadena Lane and North Tulane Avenue.  The proposed project is for a modern roundabout for the above intersection to reduce vehicular emissions, vehicular speeds/delays, increase vehicle capacity as well as improve vehicular, pedestrian and bicyclist safety and ease of movement through the intersection.

An overview of the project scope will be presented with an opportunity for public comments.  The comments will be compiled for inclusion in the grant application which is due to TDOT by November 3, 2014.
