On Monday, March 23, 2015 at approximately 9:45 A.M., multiple Oak Ridge Police Department officers responded to a complaint of gunfire in the 200 block of S. Dillard Ave.  Upon arrival, officers established a crime scene and recovered evidence which indicated several shots were fired at an individual by Asante Harris, 33 of Oak Ridge.  There were no reported injuries in the incident.  Late yesterday afternoon, three felony warrants were secured for Mr. Harris on charges of Attempted First Degree Murder, Felony Reckless Endangerment, and Felony Vandalism.  The investigation remains active and ongoing, and no further details will be released at this time.  Mr. Harris is currently being sought by the Oak Ridge Police Department and is considered armed and extremely dangerous.  Anyone who knows his whereabouts should immediately contact the nearest law enforcement agency.  Anyone who has further information regarding this investigation should contact the Oak Ridge Police Department Criminal Investigations Division Lieutenant John Kelly at (865) 425-3968 or Detective Bill Weaver at (865) 425-3502.
