The Oak Ridge Senior Center is excited to be offering a new session of beginning Conversational Spanish. Students will be asked to work on language acquisition by reinforcing the weekly lesson with at least 15 minutes of practice each day.
Bilingual on-line resources will be provided so you do not need to know the Spanish language to incorporate learning Spanish into your daily activities. The main objective of the program is to introduce basic conversational Spanish language while broadening the student’s knowledge of other cultures. In a fun, educational and hands-on atmosphere, the students will be motivated to acquire language skills and the love of learning languages.
The class will be taught by Señora Estela Granado, a native Spanish speaker with over 20 years of teaching experience. Cost will be $50 for a 10 week session. The class will meet on Saturdays beginning March 4, 2017, or on Tuesdays beginning March 7, 2017.
Saturday classes begin at 9:30 a.m. and Tuesday classes start at either 9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. Each class lesson is an hour long and is limited to 15 students.
