8th Rowing Lane Dedication to be Held April 28

Apr 27, 2017 - Oak Ridge will welcome state and local leaders on Friday, April 28, for a dedication of the new 8th rowing lane on Melton Hill Lake. The regatta originally scheduled for April 29-30 has been cancelled due to excess rain, but the dedication will go on as planned.

Apr 27, 2017 - The Oak Ridge Fire Department would like to remind citizens about the CodeRed Emergency Notification System. One issue identified following recent CodeRed alerts is that a large number of citizens are hanging up too soon to hear the message.

Notification of Sewer Line Repair on North Purdue

Apr 26, 2017 - Beginning on May 1, a contractor for the City's Public Works Department will be repairing a sewer line on North Purdue Avenue in the area behind ORNL Federal Credit Union. Traffic delays are possible.

Notification of Sewer Line Cleaning Project

Apr 18, 2017 - Beginning April 24 and continuing through mid-June, the Public Works Department will be cleaning sewer lines throughout the City. This may cause traffic delays as roads could be temporarily closed during the cleaning process.
