Don't Leaf Me Behind

World Wise Wednesdays presents Don't Leaf Me Behind

Join Althea Manges, senior recreational forester at the University of Tennessee and local library clerk, for a walking tree identification tour of A.K. Bissell Park. We’ll be learning how to identify trees using bark, buds, and other clues we can find on site. We’ll be using both library and online resources to assist with our identifications. This is an outdoor event so be prepared for cold weather and dress accordingly.

Coffee, Hot chocolate, and desserts will be served before starting our walk with refills available afterwards.
In the event of inclement weather we will be conducting a presentation inside the auditorium.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Oak Ridge Public Library.
