Chief's Message:
On behalf of the men and women of the Oak Ridge Police Department, I welcome you to our website, which will introduce you to your Police Department and provide an overview of our services. The Oak Ridge Police Department is staffed with 61 certified officers, 24 civilian employees and several volunteers, all striving to serve and protect the community of Oak Ridge with distinction and honor.  We are absolutely dedicated to making our City safer and improving the quality of life on every street, every block and every neighborhood.  It is my honor to serve as the Chief of Police, where I work daily alongside sworn and civilian personnel that are dedicated to addressing crime and disorder in a manner that embodies police-community partnerships by taking pride and ownership in all that we do.

citizen Police Academy: Now Accepting Applications

The Oak Ridge Police Department will be conducting a Citizen Police Academy this year. Classes will start February 27 and continue through May 8, 2018. (Memorial Day is excluded.) Applications will be accepted until February 21, 2018, at 5 p.m
