TWO Suspects Arrested for Multiple Vehicle Burglaries, STOLEN PROPERTY RECOVERED

On August 25, 2016, the Oak Ridge Police Department investigated a series of overnight vehicle burglaries from the area of W. Outer Drive and Montana Avenue.

On this same date, ORPD officers encountered Jessie Dunham, 40, of Lenoir City, who was found to have items in his possession which were determined to be from one of the burglary victims. A second suspect, Joshua Scott, 38, of Oak Ridge, was identified and additional stolen items were recovered. Dunham and Scott have been booked in to the Anderson County Jail on multiple felonious charges.

The ORPD is still in possession of several other significant items which were stolen but the true owner(s) have yet to be determined. If you believe that you may have been the victim of a vehicle burglary or had a theft from your yard/carport, please contact the ORPD at (865) 425-4399.
